Policies:
No Drinking/Smoking. Operation of Watercraft under the influence of drugs and alcohol is strictly prohibited.
We’re operating on a public lake. Please be kind and think of your fellow citizens and their right to be here also by cleaning up after yourself.
If born after 9/1/1993, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) requires a person to take a TPWD approved boater’s education course ($11) or purchase the 15-day boater’s ed deferral ($10). Below are the links. They will open in a new tab so you won't lose your place here.
Having the boater's education certificate is a Texas Law and the course takes about 4 hours online but it’s totally worth it because you'll be able to legally rent and safely operate watercraft anywhere in Texas, anytime! This will come in very handy when your favorite watercraft rental service - Puddle Pilots LLC - expands operations!
Watercraft Retrieval
In the unlikely event that the wind pushes a person beyond their natural ability to get back to shore, Puddle Pilots staff will retrieve the watercraft at no cost to renters. If you’re out in your own watercraft and you want to risk the waves, we will also get you out, but it’ll cost you a 5-star review for Puddle Pilots LLC!
Terms and Conditions
You break it, you buy it. Not kidding. Jet skis start out at about 6k before taxes. Please treat our equipment like it’s your favorite relative’s most prized possession. Labor costs on repairs, with the supply chain, can take us out of business. If you want to destroy something, go to the rage room downtown!
If you do not bring the jet ski back within the time frame designated, a $60 late charge for every 15 minutes will be deducted from the $350 deposit. Other customers are waiting and we want everyone to have a good time. If you come back and nobody is scheduled for a rental after your time frame, you are welcome to rent again! No need to fill out the waiver again, we can simply extend your time slot but you will need to pay for usage accordingly.
